Delhi BJP’s women wing on Monday held demonstrations at several places here demanding that AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal take action against his colleague Ashutosh for his “derogatory blog” and his party lawmakers who are allegedly involved in misconduct with women.

Mahila Morcha’s Pradesh President Kamaljeet Sehrawat led a protest march of a group of women from Pragati Maidan towards the residence of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia raising slogans and demanding expulsion of Ashutosh from AAP.

The demonstrators also carried roses, but police stopped them about short of Sisodia’s residence.

“Later a small delegation of women were allowed to go inside Sisodia’s residence where they handed over a bunch of roses to his camp officer,” Delhi BJP said in a statement.

BJP Mahila Morcha workers will not sit silent till Chief Minister Kejriwal expels MLAs like Sandeep Kumar from Vidhan Sabha and Ashutosh from the party.

“Today we have presented roses but if action is not taken then within a couple of days, we will submit bangles to the chief minister himself,” she was quoted as saying in the statement.
