The tension between Khap panchayats and BJP MP Rajkumar Saini escalated after members of the panchayats declared that they will not allow Saini to enter Dadri where he is scheduled to hold a public meeting Sunday.
The Khap representatives who had gathered in Dadri stated that Saini indulges in making adverse comments about Jats. They further stated that in case he holds a meeting here it could lead to a communal tension. They sought from the district administration to bar his entry in Dadri otherwise they would block the entry points themselves.

Saini, who has been against Jat reservation is making a team of 35 communities to oppose the issue. Recently, ink was thrown at the BJP MP by five persons out of which four were students of a Jat college in Hisar. After the incident, Saini alleged that an attempt was made to strangulate him. The five accused were booked under Section 307 (attempt to murder). But after protests by Khap panchayats and criticism from political parties, the section was revoked.
The representatives even gave a representation to SDM Dadri seeking that Saini not be allowed to hold a public meeting here to ensure peace. The Khaps who have been seeking a registration of a case against Saini and his supporters, have even decided to oppose his programmes at other places in the state as well.
The Akhil Bharatiya Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti has already announced that if the Haryana government does not suspend Saini from the party they would not extend support to BJP in assembly elections in various states.
