Congress’ hands with terrorists, says Shivraj Chouhan

A DAY after publicly praising police officials involved in the encounter killing of eight SIMI operatives, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday launched a stinging attack on the Congress, accusing the party of colluding with terrorists.

“Congress ka haath aatankiyon ke saath (Congress party’s hand with the terrorists),’’ Chouhan said, referring to the opposition party’s slogan ‘Congress ka haath aam aadmi (common people) ke saath’.

“By shedding tears for those killed in the encounter, you (Congress leaders) are insulting martyrdom of jawans. It’s vote-bank politics, and shame on such politicking politicians,’’ Chouhan said at a public meeting in Anuppur, in eastern MP, after BJP candidate Gyan Singh filed his nomination for the by-election for Shahdol Lok Sabha seat.
