Congress attacks AAP for inducting liquor baron’s aide

Kaushik was inducted into AAP a few days ago in the presence of senior party leader Durgesh Pathak, but his induction was withdrawn soon after.

Attacking the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for inductinga Om Parkash Kaushik, n aide of liquor baron Shiv Lal Doda, Punjab Congress’s chief spokesperson Sunil Jakhar said Saturday it could not have happened without AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal’s consent.

Kaushik was inducted into AAP a few days ago in the presence of senior party leader Durgesh Pathak, but his induction was withdrawn soon after. Doda is currently in jail in connection with the Bheem Tank murder case. Speaking to the media in Jalandhar on Saturday, Jakhar said AAP was no different than SAD which too also patronized the liquor baron.
