The Congress on Friday asked the central government to specify a time frame for bringing back former cricket IPL chief Lalit Modi to the country and alleged that he enjoyed the patronage of the ruling NDA dispensation.

The Enforcement Directorate has said it wishes to question the former Indian Premier League chief on money laundering charges.

“The government should tell us when it will get Lalit Modi back to the country,” Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala told reporters here.

Why congress did not follow the procedure of extradition in case of Lait Modi? No FIR was filed by them. Why correspondance were not routed through ministry of external affairs ? were there two opinions in the government ministers as some them enjo his hospitality? why light blue notice in stead red corner for the man sitting out side the country ? Why the congress party did not act correctly for four years ? The party must answer to these questions to the people of india.

Silly cynical comment from an IGNORANT moron.LM went overseas during the UPA 2 tenure. Why did PC not get him back?.Do you know a Red Corner request has been made by the ED to Interpol. This entails the issue of an arrest warrant against LMterpol before actioning this have requested a copy of the charge sheet against LM.None exists, hence LM has not been arrested.I hope this clarifies the fog of ignorance.
