Chennai: Muslim outfit holds protest against SIMI encounter

Condemning the recent "encounter" deaths as "well-planned murders," the protestors claimed that the incident was a blatant "violation of human rights."

A protest demonstration was held on Thursday by Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam against the killing of eight SIMI activists in an alleged encounter by police in Madhya Pradesh. Condemning the recent “encounter” deaths as “well-planned murders,” the protestors claimed that the incident was a blatant “violation of human rights.”

They accused the Union government of aiding the Madhya Pradesh government in this regard. Besides TMMK leaders, Manithaneya Makkal Katchi, the political arm of TMMK, and functionaries of outfits like ‘Christian Nallinakka Iyakkam’ participated.

On October 31, eight undertrial SIMI prisoners were killed by police in an alleged encounter in suburban Bhopal hours after they escaped from Bhopal Central Jail after murdering a sentry.

    All the Videos clearly shows they want to surrender. But the police killed them deliberately. MP ATS Chief has also said that they have no arms with them to attack the police. No doubt this is a fake encounter and murder to arouse the people's feeling in the name of nationalism vs terrorism. The govt thinks public are fools. But the Truth will only prevail.

      All supporters of terrorists who protest against the encounter if terrorists should be booked under TADA and face supporting of terrorism charges. Clean India of these terrorist apologists

        Human rights for terrorists?TMMK is a hardcore terrorist organization masquerading as a political party in Tamilnadu. As long as we have people like Karuna here these vermins will always be free to do whatever they want

          Have these people protested when two of these SIMI activists killed a unsuspecting innocent girl in Chennai Train bomb two years ago. These people should be hanged first.
