Slamming AAP’s Gujarat in-charge Ashutosh for defending sacked Delhi minister Sandeep Kumar, who is embroiled in a controversy surrounding an ‘objectionable’ CD, BJP on Saturday said it will hold a statewide protest against Ashutosh, and his party convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday.
Gujarat BJP spokesperson Bharat Pandya said that Ashutosh tried to “equate” Kumar with Mahatma Gandhi and it was a “shameful” act. “The (sacked) minister has crossed all limits of perversion and immorality,” Pandya said in a statement on Saturday, adding that using Gandhi’s name to shield his “misdemeanor” amounted to insulting Gandhian ideology.
He also pointed out that music composer Vishal Dadlani, who recently resigned from AAP, was involved in “mudslinging” against Jain monk Tarun Sagar. ENS
