BSP MLA Babban Singh Chauhan resigns from party’s primary membership

Babban Singh Chauhan, announced his resignation at a press conference, alleging that Mayawati was selling tickets and running it as a "private limited company".

A BSP MLA on Saturday resigned from the primary membership of the party, alleging that its chief Mayawati asked him to deposit Rs two crore in the party fund in exchange for a ticket to fight Assembly polls. The party MLA from Mughalsarai Assembly seat, Babban Singh Chauhan, announced his resignation at a press conference, alleging that Mayawati was selling tickets and running it as a “private limited company”.

He alleged that she asked him to deposit Rs two crore in the party fund in exchange for a ticket to fight Assembly polls. Chauhan said soon his supporters will also resign from the party.
