"Navjot Kaur expressed her opinion freely always. She never minced her words or was asked to do so. So if this is suffocation, then we do not know what freedom is," said Sampla.

“BJP accommodated and respected the Sidhus as much as it was possible for us. In fact, I think we even tolerated their indiscipline for too long which wasn’t our obligation. Everyone today knows and will agree with the fact that they never felt suffocated in BJP. She (Navjot Kaur) continued speaking against the party even when she was part of it. I do not think someone can show this level of patience which BJP showed,” he said, while in Ludhiana.

“She expressed her opinion freely always. She never minced her words or was asked to do so. So if this is suffocation, then we do not know what freedom is. I think we gave them all the due respect and even more than what they deserved. Rest it was their call to resign from the party,” said Sampla.
