BJP MP Udit Raj on Tuesday demanded reservation for Dalits in sports, including in the national cricket team. “We demand Dalit reservation in all sports!” the Dalit leader said in a tweet.

He said Dalits have been talking about their representation in the Indian cricket team following a law enacted by South Africa that at least five players of colour should be part of its cricket team.

Raj represents North West Delhi in the Lok Sabha and also heads an outfit working for the cause of Dalits.

What a stupidity! I am not against reservation, but it should be on merit basis. One should not divide the county in the name is caste based reservations.

Untill these people stop talking about White-Black and Upper-Lower; My India will remain;br/gt;lt;br/gt;I don't oppose RESERVATION SYSTEM completley, but Current Reservation system is not a solution for development of undeveloped, as it remains politically biased, a game zone for;br/gt;lt;br/gt;And after nearly 70years, we are still fighting over reservations not over our;br/gt;lt;br/gt;There are RICH PEOPLE in every caste; why they should get reservations while the poor still remains unprivileged (Even in un-reserved catagory) ???lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt;Why we call some of our brothers and sisters as MINORITY, DALIT and still seek respect for them while we are not respecting them by calling so... ???lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt;Why we all Indians are not equal even in our own eyes ???lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt;What if RESERVATION can be directed towards Financially Backwards irrespective of Gender, Religion, Caste and Color. lt;br/gt;To those who may be from any region, linked to any political party, of any community, but the real unprivileged ones who don't have financial capability to live a standard life, to get educated, to be skilled for a job;br/gt;lt;br/gt;Why we don't have that political will to Stop Privileged people getting reservation in name of caste. I have seen many people though being at HIGHER PAID JOBS, FINANCIALLY STRONG, still take profit of Reservation because it is available free to;br/gt;lt;br/gt;Why we don't have the Ethical Will to treat everyone equally ??lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt;I don't oppose Reservation, I oppose the way it is being implemanted and used for self benifints of limited groups. And those who are called dalit, minority (I hate calling them so, we live in same country, I love them equally) are still struggling as much as they were before 70;br/gt;lt;br/gt;It hurts when others don't respect them. But it hurts more When I see people on roads, protesting for equality, demanding for reservation, declaring themselves as unequal and lower than others, minority, dalit; I feel sad, feel that they are not even giving respect to themselves, in their own;br/gt;lt;br/gt;Sorry if I hurt someone, sorry if I am wrong, please correct me, Sorry if I am saying unrealistic things, Sorry if I have wrong facts; I bow down before all Indians if I have done any mistakes while expressing my personal feelings;br/gt;lt;br/gt;Jai Hind...
