Stepping up its campaign ahead of next year’s Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, BJP Wednesday launched an email service where people can complain against alleged land grabbing in the state.
The email id ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’ was launched to help receive complaints against encroachment and land grabbing on public and private land anywhere in the state. It is part of BJP’s efforts to reach out to public and step up its attack against the ruling Samajwadi Party in a bid to wrest power in the state.
The service came a day after BJP chief Amit Shah lashed out against the Akhilesh Yadav government, accusing it of aiding “land grabbing” in the state and providing protection to the goons behind such activities and land mafia.
State party chief Keshav Prasad Maurya said, “BJP feels the public of UP is terrorised by the goons of ruling SP and will come to the aid of all who have become a headache for the state.”
