The Sangrur MP via a video message said,” I am an MP and so is PPCC president, who is an MP from Amritsar. I am the chairman of the campaign committee of AAP Punjab and Captain also holds a similar portfolio. So we are at ‘equal’ level and hence I am ready to debate with him any day at his choice of place and time.”

Describing himself as the candidate at par with Amarinder for the debate, Mann said,”Amarinder won the 2014 Lok Sabha elections by a margin of 1.25 lakh votes while my margin of win was 2.25 lakh votes. Amarinder can bring whatever documents with him when he finalises to debate and if needed, we can also provide him documents. However, it will be an extempore for me as I am well versed with all facts of Punjab.”
