Assam: APSC chief Rakesh Paul arrested over corruption charges

Allegations of corruption and holding of disproportionate sources of income have been levelled against Paul, after the Guwahati High Court directed the CBI to conduct a preliminary inquiry against him in October last year.

Rakesh Paul, the chairman of Assam Public Service Commission, has been arrested by Dibrugarh police over corruption charges.

Allegations of corruption and holding of disproportionate sources of income have been levelled against the controversial chairman, after the Guwahati High Court directed the CBI to conduct a preliminary inquiry against him in October last year.

      In one of my personal interview in the APSC office for the post of istsnt Engineer- Civil, the expert in the panel asked me whether I was civil or mechanical engineer !lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt;I was shocked ! but that is how happened in APSC. For chairman to members , all are in the process of making money. So he should be sentenced examplanary punishment..
