Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met with an accident at NH one in Jalandhar while he was on his way to Darbar Sahib in Amritsar. No injury was reported and everyone escaped unhurt.

He was accompanied by Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann, newly appointed AAP Punjab convener Gurpreet Ghughi and senior AAP leader H S Phoolka.

The accident took place on a flyover near Punjab Armed Police (PAP) Chowk on Friday morning.

The car, an Innova in which the Delhi chief minister was travelling, hit the other vehicle of his own cavalcade. Both the vehicles got damaged partially. Kejriwal then shifted to another Innova and left the place after few minutes.

All the vehicles of his cavalcade were driving at a high speed. When the pilot vehicle slowed down a little, the vehicle in which Delhi CM was travelling hit it from rear end.

Police also reached the spot. Few months ago, there were reports of the CM’s cavalcade hitting a local man in Amritsar.
