Army jawan killed in ceasefire violation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Keran sector

A police official said that an army jawan Harshid Badarya lost his life in Keran sector ceasefire violation.

An army jawan was killed on Saturday in ceasefire violation on the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, police said. Pakistani troops violated ceasefire by indulging in firing and shelling in Keran sector on Saturday morning, a police official said. He said that an army jawan Harshid Badarya lost his life in this incident. The firing has stopped, the official said, adding further details were awaited.
