AAP MLA Naresh Yadav sent to two days police remand

Advocates in Delhi came out in support of Yadav with the Dwarka Court Bar association calling for a strike Tuesday to protest against the “arrest of an advocate”.

Arrested AAP MLA Naresh Yadav was produced in the court of additional civil judge, Malerkotla, Monday. He was sent to a two-day police remand as police said they wanted to question him further in the Quran desecration case.

Meanwhile, advocates in Delhi came out in support of Yadav with the Dwarka Court Bar association calling for a strike Tuesday to protest against the “arrest of an advocate”. The Mehrauli MLA is one of the founding members of the association. Bar association president B S Jakhar said the coordination committee of all district court bar associations had decided to register their protest by wearing red ribbons to show their solidarity.
