Eight men aged between 25 and 30 years, and hailing from J&K’s Ramban district were detained Monday morning after locals found them ‘suspicious’ and called the police. However, upon inquiry, the men turned out to be labourers who migrate annually for work and were released.

“They had boarded a bus to the Bajju area in Bikaner district, when some locals called up the police station and alerted us,” said Sub-Inspector Gopal Singh.
