25 children get bravery awards from PM Modi

The PM said that for the award winners, this act of bravery should not become an end in itself.

Presenting the National Bravery Awards to 25 children Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that presence of mind, quick thinking, selfless determination and sensitivity for fellow human beings in distress were the most important elements of the acts performed by these children.

The PM said that for the award winners, this act of bravery should not become an end in itself. He said the children should continue to develop their careers and continue to serve society to the best of their abilities. He said that a book — Life progression of ICCW National Bravery Awardees — that he released on Sunday touched upon these aspects.
