St Stephen’s College online admissions begin today

New Delhi: Online applications for admission to under-graduate courses at St Stephen’s College will open on Monday,the college has announced. OMR applications will be available from June 4. Submission of applications forms will close on June 18,and interview list and schedule for interviews will be out on June 22.

Journalist injured in road mishap

New Delhi: A journalist working with an English daily was injured when a Scorpio car hit the motorcycle he was riding,on Friday night,police said on Sunday. Jahangir Ali was on his way to Chirag Dilli when his bike was hit by the Scorpio car,whose driver,Sunil,was arrested later. Ali was rushed to the hospital by a group of youths who were driving past. Ali suffered a fracture in the arm. A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered against Sunil.

Maximum temperature to cross 43 degrees

New Delhi: The maximum temperature on Monday is expected to cross the 43-degree mark,the weatherman has predicted. The day-time temperature on Sunday was recorded at 41.4 degrees Celsius,two degrees above normal and up from Saturday’s 40.8 degrees. The Met department has also predicted a duststorm and thunder on Monday evening.

Medical consultations in Gurgaon now online

Gurgaon: An online OPD facility has been launched in Gurgaon. The patients can access the facility at http://www.onlineopd.com,where the users will be provided pre-medical consultation through video-conferencing. The facility was inaugurated by Haryana Health Minister Rao Narender Singh on Saturday.
