Demonetisation ‘undeclared financial emergency’: Yechury

CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, while terming demonetisation as an “undeclared financial emergency,” said the move had not fulfilled the main objective and had only harassed the common public.

He said people had a right to their own property and their income is their property.

“But the PM has taken away this right.” He was addressing the gathering at Shaheed Parivar Fund function in Jalandhar.
