Is the government reaching out enough to enable a discussion?

The government is ready for discussion. Question hour and zero hour were adjourned the first day as demanded by the Opposition. Question hour was suspended when the PM came last week. Even today we were ready… It is the Opposition that is running away from a discussion.

How do you view the Opposition strategy?

Its strategy has totally failed…. They know their views have no support among people.

Is the government hopeful of support from AIADMK, BJD, JD(U)?

The BJD’s A U Singh Deo’s first sentence was that he is in support of the move. As far as JD(U) is concerned, it shows how much contradiction there is in the Opposition.

Why are ruling party members shouting slogans?

No ruling party member has gone into the well. They only give a reply when unnecessary slogans are raised by the Congress.

Is there any hope of an end to this stalemate?

I want to make one more appeal… The government has brought a bill [on disability], bills on prevention of corruption, surrogacy, HIV/AIDS are pending. The Opposition should discuss…
