The Congress on Saturday blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi led-NDA government for the uproar and logjam in parliament, and said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is nervous that their own workers will vote against them.
“If there is an uproar or a logjam in parliament, it is entirely of the government’s creation. It’s their duty to make it work. It is very clear that they are very panic stricken that their own allies, their own BJP MPs, will vote against them,” said Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi. Singhvi said the Prime Minister should come and speak over the demonetisation issue in parliament meaningfully rather then making speeches outside of it.
