Andhra: Raids conducted on Addl Exise Commisioner’s premises; property docs, Rs 7 lakh cash recovered

The property documents of two flats, nine house sites, 4.5 acres agricultural land, have been recovered so far, according to reports.

The Anti Corruption Department conducted raids at premises related to Additional Exise Commissioner K Lakshman Bhaskar in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. The property documents of two flats, nine house sites, 4.5 acres agricultural land, have been recovered so far, according to reports. The raids also found Rs 7 lakh in cash, 370 grams gold.

The raids were conducted at 11 locations in Andhra Pradesh– at K L Bhaskar’s and his relatives’ places. Officials said that Bhaskar, a native of Ramanapalem, West Godavari, had worked in various excise departments in Visakhapatnam.

The raids were conducted in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Rajahmundry and his hometown Ramanapalem. The searches would continue on Sunday, the Anti Corruption Department said.
