TWO STUDENTS sustained gunshot injuries on the Chaudhary Charan Singh University campus in Meerut Monday evening, allegedly over a dispute on dispensing cash from an ATM.

Vijay Dhama and Pradeep Singh, allegedly Samajwadi Party student wing leaders, and their aides, have been booked for the firing. “Earlier in the day, one of the groups had gone to an ATM when SP student wing leaders Vijay Dhama and Pradeep Singh reached there. As the two tried to enter the ATM breaking the queue, others stopped them. This led to a scuffle between the groups.
