Narendra Modi recalls President’s guidance during his initial days as PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday recalled the guidance extended by President Pranab Mukherjee to him during the initial days of the BJP-led government which came to power in 2014. Releasing a book ‘Rashtrapati Bhavan: From Raj to Swaraj’ and presenting its first copy to the President, Modi recalled Mukherjee’s guidance in the initial days of his Prime Ministership, and hoped that the nation would continue to benefit from his experience for a long period.

The Prime Minister said that the three books released on Sunday gave an insight into various aspects of Rashtrapati Bhavan, including its history, and the life and activities of its residents.
