The Sangeet ceremony begins where Ruhi, Shravan and Ananya are dancing to “I go crazy…in Punjabi wedding song.” Ruhi calls the parents of Aliya and Adi (bride and groom) for the stage performance. But Ishita hesitates to dance with Raman in Pihu’s presence. So everyone pushes Mani to give company to Raman as he is bride’s father. But Mani’s leg gets stiff while climbing the stage, he then tells Pihu to request Ishita to take his place. He says Ishita can dance too, as Aliya calls her Amma. Pihu asks Ishita to dance with Raman. Raman and Ishita perform beautifully to “Jag Ghumya” song. After their performance, the whole family dance together.
Mihika returns to the home late in the night. She finds everyone waiting for her in the living room. She wants to tell everything but she stops when she finds Bala’s mother is also present in the room. She knows that Bala’s mother will stretch the whole thing in the wrong way. So she lies. She says that she is late because she was with her female friend who was unwell. She again tries to tell the truth to Romi and Ishita separately, but they all are busy with the wedding preparations.
Adi helps Raman to tie the lungi in a South Indian style. Raman recalls Adi’s childhood days when he used to tie lungi on Adi with the same perfection. Adi reminds Raman to follow all the rituals properly as Shobhana will be checking the video recording later on.
In the next scene, Ruhi and Mihika are helping Ishita get ready for the marriage. Ruhi compliments Ishita.
