Comedian Kapil Sharma’s new show, The Kapil Sharma Show’ opened to mixed reviews. Opinions on social media have ranged from good to average. Those who disliked it cited the repetitive pattern of the show as one of the major reasons.
When we asked Kapil about the show receiving mixed reviews on social media and some people disliking the show, the ace comedian said, “Those are very few people. On Twitter, the number of tweets received for our show on opening day was more than IPL. As far as mixed reports go, someone or the other keep saying things. Koi na koi kuch na kuch bol deta hai.”
Taking a dig at unkind critics, Kapil said, “Critics say TRP of my new show was not like my previous one. To them, I want to say that TRP comes only a week later not immediately.”
Earlier in the day, Kapil addressed students at Subhash Ghai’s acting institute Whistling Woods where he shared anecdotes from his personal life and how comedy became his forte and a career option.
