So far, the Game of Thrones Season 6 has been as hair-raising as ever. Episode 1 saw the red priestess Melisandre in a whole new light, sans necklace, and Episode 2 (by far the most popular, and possibly most debated as well) saw everyone’s favourite Jon Snow resurrected. By those standards, Episode 3 was reasonably unremarkable, but it did set the stage for some interesting turns in the upcoming episodes.
And that, brings us to Episode 4, “Book of the Stranger”.
Due to be aired next week, the upcoming GoT episode will see Tyrion Lannister doing what he does best, talking himself a deal as things get trickier in Meereen, while Jorah and Daario undertake the difficult task of freeing their Khaleesi from the clutches of the Dothraki clan.
The teaser for the episode suggests several much-awaited scenarios — Sansa arriving at the Wall and reuniting with her brother Jon Snow, provided he hasn’t left for Winterfell yet; Theon meeting with his sister Yara yet again after dreadful encounter at Dreadfort in Season 4; the first sighting of the glib Petyr Baelish, who knows what ‘Littlefinger’ has up his sleeve; and the suggested moving on of a resurrected Jon Snow from the Night’s Watch.
And what of King’s Landing? What will become of Jaime, Cersei and Margaery? That is one story line many are waiting to see unfold.
With GoT fans waiting for each story to episode with bated breath, it seems the next will be yet another in Season 6 to open many secrets.
“Game of Thrones” Season 6 episode 4 titled “Book of the Stranger” will air in India on Monday, 7.30 am, only on Hotstar.
