We now know why Sansa Stark spurned Littlefinger’s advances towards her. She had another suitor in mind. English actor Sophie Turner, who is more popularly known as Sansa Stark in HBO’s fantasy drama Game of Thrones, is engaged to American singer and DNCE lead vocalist Joe Jonas. Sophie posted a beautiful photo of their hands with her ring clearly visible. “I said yes,” she captioned the photo. Jonas posted the same photo, with the caption, “She said yes.”
Jonas, 28, and Turner, 21, began dating last year and have since travelled to London together to meet her parents. They spent Thanksgiving with the Jonas family at the California skiing destination Mammoth Mountain. Jonas’s brother Nick Jonas, who was also in now defunct American pop band The Jonas Brothers, took to Twitter to say congrats. “Ahh! Congratulations to my brother… and sister in law to be on your engagement. I love you both so much. @joejonas @SophieT,” he wrote.
The Jonas Brothers included Kevin Jonas apart from Joe and Nick and became popular after their appearances on Disney Channel. Kevin Jonas also congratulated the couple by posting the same photo. “Congrats @joejonas and @sophiet so happy to welcome you into the family!” he captioned it.
Sophie Turner is also known for playing younger version of Jean Grey/Phoenix in the X-Men series of movies. She will reprise the role in X-Men: Dark Phoenix, which is slated to be released on November 2, 2018.
