In Saturday’s episode, the audience was in for a major surprise to see host Salman Khan lashing out at the housemates of Bigg Boss 11. While he ousted Priyank Sharma after he allegedly raised his hands on co-inmate Akash Dadlani, tonight’s episode saw Zubair Khan evicted from the house after he got the least number of votes. The filmmaker from Dongri, who claimed to have a close connection with Dawood Ibrahim and his family, was highly criticised for his abusive nature and rowdy behaviour. Also joining Salman would be the Golmaal 4 team, who would also visit the housemates for a fun interaction.
The house of Bigg Boss 11 has been clearly divided into two, with Akash Dadlani, Shilpa Sinde, Arshi Khan and Puneesh Sharma on one side, and rest of the housemates forming another groupr. Though the fight between Shilpa and Vikas Gupta took center stage from day one, things have definitely turned uglier for them.
As for Zubair Khan, his below the belt joke on the first day earned the ire of most housemates. As a matter of fact, television bahu Hina Khan has been the only one on his side. Host Salman had even confronted Hina on the same and pulled up Zubair for his actions. He even went to the extent of telling him that he is on the show only for publicity and his claims that he’s on Bigg Boss only for his kids are all false. With Salman’s words offending Zubair and seeing that all housemates have ganged up against him, in the preview to tonight’s episode, we saw him feigning a headache and even asked for medical help. Now a source shared that Zubair, knowing well that he was on the wrong side, popped up some pills that caused a panic in the house.
“No one knew about the pills and while some assumed he popped it to calm down his nerves, some panicked thinking he’s attempting suicide. Bigg Boss house doesn’t allow any contestant to take any harmful drugs with them but the way Zubair started reacting, he was rushed to the hospital. Salman then announced that since he also received the least number of votes, he has been evicted from the house,” added the source.
Recently there were reports that Zubair had been lying about his association with Dawood Ibrahim’s family. Though he had denied being Haseena Parker’s son-in-law when he spoke to indianexpress.com before stepping into the house, he did agree to have connections with the underworld. The Lakeer Ka Fakeer director-producer told us, “It’s been 10 months that my wife decided to get separated from me overnight. After I left her at a relative’s house, she called me next day to inform that she is not coming back and that I will no longer be able to meet my kids. It’s the most unfair thing that has happened to me. Since my kids religiously watch Bigg Boss, I want to connect with them through this platform. Also, I want the government to take notice of my plight.”
Zubair had further shared, “The police don’t want to file a complaint because of my in-laws family’s underworld connect. Thus, through this show, I want to reach out to a bigger audience and appeal for help to get my kids back in my life. The government and courts should make a rule that doesn’t stop a parent from meeting their kids during feuds between husbands and wives. I will die fighting than sit in a corner and cry. Bigg Boss is the best opportunity for me to get my life back on track. I will make my wife and kids laugh through my entertaining behaviour so that they come back to me.”
As for Priyank, there’s a strong buzz that he might get back to the show soon. Priyank and Vikas, who are rumoured to be in a relationship, got into a scuffle with Akash, who kept calling Vikas gay. With the fight getting heated up, Priyank slapped Akash, breaking the no violence clause in his contract, leading to his ousting.
