Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant not going off air, despite reports

Speculations said that as a part of the revamp that the channel is undergoing, it was decided to do away with Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant.

The makers of Life OK’s comedy drama Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant, starring Raqesh Bapat and Ridhima Pandit, have introduced a new track. And all this amid buzz that the show is set to go off air soon due to low TRPs. But the channel has refuted all such reports.

Speculations said that as a part of the revamp that the channel is undergoing, it was decided to do away with some shows, which included Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant.

A source from the channel, however, refuted all claims. “There’s no way that Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant is going off air. In fact we will be shooting the new promo next week,” the insider told indianexpress.com

Lately, the show, which premiered in February this year, saw many changes. In October, lead actor Karan V Grover, who played scientist Shaan Kant on the show, got replaced by Raqesh. Last month, the show took a five-year leap and introduced Rajni’s son, whose name is RAM and has robotic powers like his mother. Five-year-old RAM is played by Aryan Prajapati.

Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant is the story of Shaan, who creates a humanoid called Rajni (Ridhima) and later marries her. The show follows the confusions and troubles Rajni unintentionally causes in Shaan’s home because of her robotic nature.

Meanwhile, it has also been reported that Life OK’s ambitious show Nagarjun – Ek Yoddha is all set to go off air next month. The show which had a massive canvas was launched with a lot of promise. However, it couldn’t live up to the hype and continued to garner poor ratings. Actor Niti Taylor-starrer Ghulam is said to be replacing Nagarjun – Ek Yoddha.
