One of the busiest stars of Kollywood Dhanush has turned singer again, this time for music director Karthik Raja. Karthik Raja, the eldest son of maestro Isaignani Ilayaraja, is composing the music for Padai veeran, which stars singer-actor Vijay Yesudas and veteran director Bharathiraja. The film directed by Dhana will allegedly have Bharathiraja in a negative character. The latest is that Dhanush has sung the final track of the album named “Local Sarakka Foreign Sarakka”. The song is said to be a fun, folksy song with lyrics by Priyan. It is noteworthy that Vijay Yesudas and Dhanush have acted together in Balaji Mohan’s Maari.
Dhanush isn’t new to the world of singing. While the actor’s first song was “Naatu Saraku” from Pudhukottaiyil Irunthu Saravanan, he shot to limelight as a singer with the viral “Why this kolaveri di”. Since then, Dhanush has sung several songs including numbers in Telugu and Kannada as well.
