According to a reliable source, Varun Dhawan has been confirmed for the Hindi adaptation of the 2011 French drama, The Intouchables. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment will be producing the remake, which will be directed by Mohit Suri. Dhawan who was introduced by Johar in The Student Of The Year has made a name for himself as a dependable actor having displayed his acting skills in films like Main Tera Hero and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. The actor who has wrapped up Sriram Raghavan’s Badlapur is presently shooting for Remo D’Souza’s ABCD 2. It will be interesting to see how Suri, after helming intense serious dramas like Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain will tackle this moving French adaptation.
