Sridevi’s tri-lingual starrer to roll in September or October

After inspiring scores of women with her powerful performance as a Maharashtrian housewife, with a never-say-die attitude in her comeback film, English Vinglish, Sridevi’s next will be a tri-lingual film

After inspiring scores of women with her powerful performance as a Maharashtrian housewife, with a never-say-die attitude in her comeback film, English Vinglish, Sridevi’s next will be a tri-lingual film to be produced by husband Boney Kapoor. To be made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, the film, according to reports, is a revenge-thriller revolving around a woman with two children. While, Kapoor refused to divulge any information about the project or confirm the name of the director or the genre of the film, he did state that, “We will start shooting in September or October in Delhi. Apart from this, I do not wish to reveal anything more about the project.”

 

Koyelaanchal to release on May 1

Koyelaanchal, a film based on the coal mafia in the Jharkhand belt, is slated to release on May 1, 2014.
Directed by Asshu Trikha (who directed Enemmy), the film has Vinod Khanna and Suniel Shetty playing principal characters while the other cast includes a host of theatre personalities and actors from the Bengali film industry.
