The setting was perfect. Straight out of a spooky film. The sole bulb hanging from the ceiling, a group of girls huddled together around a seance board, invoking the spirits was enough to trigger, film-maker Bejoy Nambiar and his gang of friends into frightening the living daylights out them. Recalls Nambiar, “We had gone for a school camping trip. In the night, the boys and girls were allotted separate wings. All the boys decided to scare the girls, so we went crawling up to their room and when we peeped through the window, we saw a group of girls huddled around a seance board, trying to call the spirits. It was the perfect setting. We lit candles and made scary noises, which really spooked the girls. In fact, the girls were so scared that they suffered from high fever!”
