It seems to be a season of chat shows. After two new celeb chat shows – The Anupam Kher Show — Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai on Colors and Look Who Is Talking With Niranjan Iyengar on Zee Cafe in the last two months, Sony Entertainment Television, is bringing back Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai, the first season of which was aired on Colors last year.
Actor Vinay Pathak, who was the host on the first season, will be hosting the show that will have seven episodes and will begin with Mary Kom as the guest. “We went to her childhood home in Imphal. It was a huge revelation for the entire crew including myself. It just doesn’t say a lot about Mary Kom’s childhood but also about the life in Imphal,” says Pathak, who discovered that people of the North-East are so cut-off from the rest of the country.
While the show may have shifted to a new channel, the basic concept remains the same. “The format remains the same as that was the USP of the show. We will keep things real and simple as we did in the last season. The entire idea is to travel with the celebs to their childhood home and revive childhood memories of the time spent there,” says Pathak.
