Director Rohit Shetty, who is busy with the pre-production work of Singham 2 confirms that the Ajay Devgn-Kareena Kapoor starrer will go on the floors on March 10. The first shooting schedule taking off in Mumbai, and later the unit will move to Goa and Wai, which are the director’s favourite destinations, where most of his earlier films have been shot. But before that, the director shall be stationed in South Africa for a month, where he’ll be shooting for the next edition of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, which he is anchoring.
Meanwhile, the director is also planning to produce a Marathi film. “I’m making it with a friend, and we will be starting it very soon. May be we shall begin work on it, by this year end, or early next year once I’m done with my prior commitments,” reveals Shetty.
The director’s plan to remake the 1982 Sanjeev Kumar starrer Angoor with Shah Rukh Khan, however, has been put on hold. “We’ve written the script of Angoor, but since I’m busy with too many other things, I don’t think we’re making that film for the next three to four years,” says the director.
