Amitabh Bachchan is all set to make his TV fiction debut on Sony with Endemol’s Yudh. While the date of the telecast is yet to be announced, the actor, who has been quite active on social networking platforms since quite sometime now, was really excited to share the first look of the series that was launched during the finale of the Indian Premiere League.
A few pictures of the actor with his look in the serial followed the post. He portrays the role of Yudhisthir Skarwar, an elite businessman caught in a psychological battle with himself and a corporate battle with others.
The actor, while expressing his gratitude to the team behind the show, also revealed that director Shoojit Sircar too has a major role to play. He wrote, “The first look of ‘YUDH’ my TV serial .. just played on IPL final on Sony Six HD .. grateful thanks go to all that lived along with our passion to put up something different and fresh for me – Endemol Deepak, Anurag, Ribu, Brijesh, and all the fantastic crew Tana ji, Sanchita Mishra ji and finally Shoojit for the invaluable help and support ..Now up to the people .. to the masses … to the audience !!”
A spokesperson from Endemol informed that Sircar is the Creative Consultant, while Anurag Kashyap is the series director. Interestingly, till now Sircar’s role was kept under wraps.
