After the comic caper Humshakals, Sajid Khan took a fortnight long break. And the director is now back in action and is currently busy writing a new script – a youth-oriented film which will have light-hearted humour. The film will be produced by UTV and Khan is co-writing the film with Akharsh Rana. Confirming the news, Khan stated, “It’s going to be a youth-centric, romantic-comedy, with light-hearted and a more cooler form of humour. It’s too early to say anything else about the film and as we go along, I will get a better idea of who can fit the roles,” stated Khan.
He added that the film will require young actors, who are in their early or mid-20s and in case he doesn’t find the right cast, he doesn’t mind opting for fresh faces either, but his first choice will be established stars. The film will roll by early 2015 and Khan is planning to lock the script by the first week of October.
