Ranbir Kapoor keen to play Dhyan Chand in biopic

Karan Johar took to Twitter to announce that he will be producing a film on the life of the legendary hockey player the late Dhyan Chand. “My friends Pooja…Aarti Shetty and I are honoured and proud to have the rights to tell the story of the legendary sportsman #DHYANCHAND,” Karan tweeted.
Now, it is heard Ranbir Kapoor is keen to play the hockey player and is also in talks for the same.
Dhyan Chand who is considered as the greatest field hockey player of all times is mainly remembered for his extraordinary goal-scoring feats, in addition to the three Olympic gold medals that he won in 1928, 1932 and 1936 in field hockey. Know as The Wizard for his superb ball control, Chand played his final international match in 1948. He has scored more than 400 goals during his international career.
