Following a 45-day shooting schedule of the Hollywood film, Vagator Mixer, which was completed in Goa, the unit is all set to leave for Los Angeles for a 15-day spell to shoot the remaining 20 per cent of the film. Being produced under Dev Anand’s popular banner Navketan International Films Pvt. Ltd., India and Junix Entertainments Inc., LA, U.S.A. as co-producer, the film has Suneil Anand in the main lead along with Hollywood actors. Directed by Anand himself, with screenplay by Doug Popovich & Roland Minez, the film will also be dubbed in Hindi. Plans are on to release the film by year end across the globe.
Dr. Cabbie, Salman Khan’s first international project
The trailer for Salman Khan’s debut international production, Dr. Cabbie, is out. Directed by Jean-Francois Poulliot and produced by Eros international and Salman Khan Films, the comic caper also stars Lilette Dubey, Kunal Nayyar, Rizwan Manji and Vinay Virmani. Dr Cabbie is about determination and accomplishing one’s goals. The trailer takes the viewer on a roller coaster ride of laughter, chaos and tears as Virmani’s character ends up as an unemployed Indian doctor driving a cab in Canada.
Longinus Fernandes choreographs for The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
Choreographer Longinus Fernandes who recently choreographed Sunny Sunny in Yaariiyan, will choreograph three songs for The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, a sequel to the 2012 The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. The film, which is partly shot in Rajasthan, has most of the original ensemble cast including Dev Patel and Tena Desae.”Though I cannot divulge details about the songs, there will be lots of bollywood masala and celebrations,” said Fernandes. The film will release this year end in India.
