Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif returned from a three-week Abu Dhabi schedule of Bang Bang in Abu Dhabi. Director Siddharth Anand shot some heavy duty chase sequences for his action thriller which were choreographed by Hollywood action director Andy Armstrong who has worked on films like The Amazing Spiderman 2.
Says a source from the film’s production team, “Despite fears of aggravating the head injury that he sustained during the film’s first schedule that led to a surgery and a long recuperation, Hrithik insisted on doing all the action sequences sans a body double.
It was a hectic schedule and the stars were shooting almost 12 hours a day. On the last day of the shoot, as soon as Anand shouted, ‘Ok, Cut, Wrap’, Hrithik, who was shooting on the beach, made a 100-metres dash for the ocean and plunged into the water, splashed around and then started swimming. The rest of the team also joined in and it was an impromptu party.”
Bang Bang, produced by Fox Star Studios, is an Indianised adaptation of the Tom Cruise-Cameron Diaz starrer Knight And Day, is 90 per cent complete and releases on October 2, 2015.
