Rapper and composer Yo Yo Honey Singh seems to be enjoying a great year. Post the success of his song Sunny Sunny in Yaariyan this year, he is all set to team up with none other than Amitabh Bachchan for Bhoothnath Returns. Bachchan will shake a leg with Honey Singh for a special dance number called Party with Bhootnath in the film, which is produced by BR Films and Bhushan Kumar. The song, which will be used as a special promotional video, will be shot this week in a modern-day haveli (converted into a resort) located in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. Special props, backgrounds and accessories were used to give a spooky touch to the setting. More than a 100 dancers, including children, will seen shaking a leg with the duo. When contacted, Kumar confirmed that Singh will be sharing screen space with Bachchan in the song. “Mr.Bachchan will be a part of the video and we are extremely excited about this jugalbandi, as we want the audience to enjoy the unique chemistry between Honey Singh and Big B,” he said.
When asked if Bachchan will get behind the mic for the number, Kumar mentioned that they are still in talks with the actor and if things work out, they might get Bachchan to rap a few lines along with Singh.

Gulaab Gang
Pink is in!
Gulaabi

The power of pink is well reflected through the title track of the Madhuri Dixit Nene and Juhi Chawla starrer Gulaab Gang, with director Soumik Sen turning music director for this rustic, finely composed song. But it is not your typical number with a village background, as it blends in contemporary and rock beats very well. Sung by Malabika Brahma and Shilpa Rao, Gulaabi makes for  a decent women’s anthem, as  it describes  a  woman’s valour and power really  well. A few thumping, steady beats adding an interesting touch. We must say, lyricist Neha Saraf has penned some really thoughtful lyrics (especially lines like Payal ghungroo nahi, talwaaro se khan khan). Hear it once and you won’t be disappointed.

Getting cagey

Sunny  Leone launched the upbeat dance number Baby doll from her upcoming film Ragini MMS 2 last week. The actress made an  entry in a big, golden cage, which passed through a group of dancers dressed as security guards as she danced inside it. Composed and sung by Meet Bros Anjjan  feat Kanika Kapoor and penned by Kumaar, Baby doll is an urban Punjabi number, which also includes a  rap by Kunal Avanti and Meet Bros Anjjan. The video of the song was also released at the event.
