The makers of Heropanti launched the first song from the film, Whistle Baja, last week at an event in Mumbai. Interestingly, the song incorporates elements from the classic flute tune from Jackie Shroff’s film, Hero. As a sign of gratitude to the flute players of the country and for keeping the melody alive all these years, producer Sajid Nadiadwala announced that the song is officially dedicated to them. As an ode to flute players, Nadiadwala also invited some of them to the song launch event.
Talking about the dance number, director Sabbir Khan stated, “We have used the iconic flute sounds from the music used in Hero and given it a contemporary twist. We hope Whistle Baja and the signature step catches on with the audiences.”
