Who could imagine the demure looking Vidya Balan having a naughty streak in her? When she, Farhan Akhtar and the team of Shaadi Ke Side Effects were in Kolkata to promote the film, they visited this quaint, elite place called Cupee and she pulled a fast one on her co-star. “There was this wide array of authentic Bengali food like mangsho and fish and everyone was going crazy over the food. Just when Farhan was about to pop one of the delicacies in his mouth, I pointed to a camera in another room, which I knew was not operational. He was not aware of that, so seemed shocked out of his wits. I then told him that the camera was not working, after seeing his expression,” chirped the actress.
Unruffled by link-ups!
Alia Bhatt is not politically correct. The girl always speaks her mind. During the promotion of her film Highway recently, she was asked if link-ups bother her. “No,” pat came her reply, adding, “Even if it’s true it shouldn’t bother me, and even if it’s not true, it doesn’t bother me. But one thing’s for sure, I will never talk about who I’m dating.”
While earlier Alia has been linked to her Student Of The Year co-star Varun Dhawan, much has also been spoken about her bonding with Arjun Kapoor recently. The actress, though, has always maintained that both the actors are her friends. In fact when she bumped into Dhawan at Mehboob Studio with his father David Dhawan and co-star Ileana D’cruz recently, Bhatt greeted him with a warm hug. She was later also seen chatting with Dhawan Senior.
Customised cuppa, anyone?
That Ranveer Singh loves to be different is known to all, thanks to his choice of quirky outfits and eccentric accessories. But few know how much the actor adores himself, so much so that he has his daily dose of cuppa only from a custom made mug which has several images of the actor. The colourful personalised mug has Singh’s photographs put together in a collage, where he can be seen posing in various avatars, including in films like Lootera and Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl. Those around him know that the actor is very particular about enjoying his cup of brew in the same mug. Now that’s what you call taking customisation to a whole new level.
