The shooting of Vikram Bhatt’s Mr X took off in Mumbai last week and producer-writer Mahesh Bhatt posted one look of lead actor Emraan Hashmi in the film! ‘The Desire for power & the ability to thwart evil & to right all wrongs led to such icons as SUPERMAN & also MR X.’ is what Bhatt had tweeted along with the picture.
“This is not Emraan’s look and is just a moment in the film. Hashmi who plays a cop in Mr X will also be turning invisible in parts of the film,” said Shagufta Rafique, the dialogue writer of the film.
Rafique also clarified that the film has nothing to do with the 1957 Ashok Kumar starrer, Mr X which was directed by Mahesh Bhatt’s father, Nanabhai Bhatt. “Except for the title and the fact that the protagonist turns invisible there are no similarities between the films. The subject is in the Batman and Spider Man zone and is about how good wins over evil,” she said.
Mr X which has Amyra Dastur as the leading lady will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule.
“Supriya Pathak and Tanvi Azmi are a riot when together,” says Vidya Balan about shooting for Bobby Jasoos
Vidya Balan who plays the the title role in Bobby Jasoos chuckled as she recalled shooting for the film in Hyderabad with Supriya Pathak, Zarina Wahab, Tanvi Azmi, Benaf Dadachanji, and actor-producer Dia Mirza. “I have not worked with so many women in a long time. We all got along very well and would huddle up together most of the time and chat away, while the male cast comprising Ali Fazal, Arjan Bajwa and Kiran Kumar would wonder what we were so engrossed in. It reminded me of my Parineeta days when the team was full of women. I must mention that
Tanvi, who I thought was this intellectual actor, in reality is so different. She laughs more than anyone else and continues till the tears come rolling
down! In fact, she and Supriya Pathak are a riot when together,” chirped the actress.
