Even before his hilarious “Aloo Bade Karare...” act in the seventh season of Bigg Boss made him a household name, VJ Andy already had a very entertaining experience exploring different shades of love on the tube with Dare 2 Date. The show that is aired on Channel V had made Andy popular among the youth and he wanted to get back to something that was his brainchild.
“After being in the Bigg Boss house, I haven’t done anything that is crazy, funny or whacky,” says the VJ, who is trying to bring back the brand that he has created with the third season of his show that went on air last week. He remembers that his stint on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa was a little disappointing and thus D2D becomes more important to reconnect with his audience.
“It’s something that I have really enjoyed doing. Dare 2 Date was the first show that let me connect with the audience and thus it’s really close to my heart,” he says.
Having said that, Andy doesn’t want to leave out Bigg Boss, which is equally close to his heart. The VJ turned entertainer who already made a short entry to the house in one of the earlier episodes of the eighth season, would be seen more. “A lot of things are planned with respect to Bigg Boss,” he says and adds that what he learnt in the Bigg Boss house doing, “tasks after tasks” will help him in Dare 2 Date.
