The Abhishek Bachchan-owned Jaipur Pink Panthers proved to be strong against Ronnie Screwvala-owned franchise U Mumba at the inaugural Star Sports Pro-Kabaddi League at the NSCI Stadium in Mumbai. The team delivered a stellar performance in the final to emerge triumphant in the first ever  Kabaddi tournament. The Panthers scored a 35-24 victory in an action-packed clash in front of a full house of celebrities who were in attendance. Bachchan seems to be taking a keen interest in the country’s sports scenario, as he recently took over the Chennai franchise of the Indian Super League (ISL) during the official launch of the football league.
