After the announcement of demonetisation by our honourable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, people were in confusion and watching movies was not on their mind. So, we postponed the movie from November 18. Now we are happy to announce that we have locked December 1 as our new release date.” said film producer S Venugopal.

Many big films including Dhruva, Intlo Dayyam Nakem Bhayyam and Okkadochadu have been postponed in a similar way. Under Pradeep Kalipurayath’s direction, Bethaludu features Vijay in the lead role. The actor shot to fame after his latest Tamil action drama Pichaikkaran, which had raked in over Rs 5 crore just on its opening weekend.
