It’s confirmed. The audio launch of the much awaited Telugu remake of Malaylam blockbuster Premam is scheduled to happen on September 20 in Hyderabad. The movie is slated to release during Dussehra weekend, October 7.
The audio launch is reportedly expected to be attended by some big stars in Hyderabad’s Shilpa Kala Vedika as the event is happening on the birth anniversary of legendary Telugu actor and Naga Chaitanya’s grandfather Akkineni Nageshwara Rao.
Premam is Telugu remake of the Malayalam movie with the same name, which starred Nivin Pauly and Sai Madhuri playing the lead roles. The duo in the Telugu version has been replaced by Tollywood stars Naga Chaitanya and Shruthi Hassan. However, other actors including Anupama Parameswaran and Madonna Sebastian have been retained in the Telugu Premam too.
Under the music direction of Gopi Sunder, the movie’s two key tracks “Evare” and “Bang Bang” have already been released. The second track Bang Bang has been penned down by Ramajogayya Sastry and rendered by Haricharan. Sithara Entertainments is bankrolling the movie while Chandoo Mondeti has directed it.
Chaitanya took on Twitter on Sunday to share the news posting it along with the film’s latest poster. “This is true #Premam audio release on September 20. Thank u Anil and Bhanu for these fine posters loving every one!” he tweeted.

Earlier, there were rumors that Nagarjuna will be seen in a cameo. However, it’s just his voice he is lending for the movie. The report revealed that the actor will give the voice over narrating about characters and different phases in the film.
